Introduction to the Objectives of LDSF - 02 | |
|
| | |
| | | | |
| | | We
had the fortune of discussing the matters of the needs and the plans with our
members on several occasions. We have also discussed with several of our religious
leaders and other Hindu community leaders. Our friends also met several times
and we all had discussion on these matters in the past one year. As
a result of our discussions and tele-conferences, we have now evolved a composite
plan to amalgamate, to form a structured organization that will help the Hindu
Dharma the position It deserves. The plans are outlined in the following pages
and in the attached documents. This includes a grand central area for an Apex
Body of Regents, comparable to any great seats of Religion in the world, where
the leaders can address the large congregation of our community and hold conferences
and symposium. There will be many centers in many cities to organize research
and meetings. The main centers will have facilities to encourage the study of
the teachings of our great Acharyas, collect and preserve our ancient texts, encourage
research studies, university level of courses and lectures. There will be facilities
for international students to spend a week or a month to study, organize periodic
symposium of research studies, train teachers, preachers and priests. We will
also organize a chain of command of a strong organizational structure, initially,
to arrange the renovation and reconstruction of thousands of private Hindu Temples
all over South India. Later we can extend the plans all over India and around
the world. They will also organize a structure to have health, education and social
welfare activities and general educational courses and technical studies along
with spiritual studies.
|
| | Now,
we have conceptualized some plans which we are submitting here in the following
pages. These are just ideas, still to be modified as and when positive inputs
are received. The basic idea is of a Grand Apex center for Hindu Dharma with study
and propagation of our faith with equal rights and privileges, training of priests,
preachers and teachers. Next is reconstruction and renovation with maintenance
of out village Hindu Temples. We also need to lookafter the welfare of our priests,
teachers and village Poojaris. Then our children and youth need to be educated
aout the texts, the principles and philosphy of Hindu Dharma in a proper way,
where our "secular" schools have given them a distorted information
about our mythology and traditions. There will be Research facilities and also
Health, education and social welfare schemes. These will remain as the four pillars
of this project to be developed in several stages on a long term comprehensive
planning. We will also raise funds to support other organizations, schools, Universities
and Health care facilities to support such activities which will include Spiritually
oriented studies, Hindu studies associated with all Masters and Doctorate education
as also general social welfare reaserch and activites. We invite all of you to
join in our effort with your support and voluntary work. We need people of Hindu
community from many parts of the world, from many villages in South India, as
also other parts of India and also from many cities in India and around the world.
The master plan can be well modified based on the availability of land and architectural
designs and needs of the community. The centers and sub-centers can be established
in many temples and cities all over the world to teach, to preserve and to propogate
our Hindu Dharma for all members of our community.
