Dr. RS explained the need and plan for Basic Hindu Dharma classes in Temples/ public places for which Part I and Part II syllabus framed by Dr. Bala N. Aiyer, sent to all members, to be adopted uniformly at all places to have a quality in teaching. It was decided that efforts be put in to celebrate Kanchi Periavas 75 birth day celebrations by LDSFT at Chetpet Sankaralyam before September, 2010 with implementation of few projects at periava's blessings.

Due to poor participation of members Projects like Integrated community dev. Project, youth forums, other education programmes, and the various projects mentioned in LDSFT Flier will be discussed on 11th April where more members join.

Sri. KS. Sastry has shown interest on rejuvenation of Venkadu Siva temple and a Committee for Fund Raising will be formed. This Fund Raising committee will have Shri. Sastry as chairman and Sri K. Sankaran, Trustee, LDSFT as trust nominee. Every donation should be collected in the name of LDSFT, and has to be deposited in our Indian bank account and official receipt issued. The receipt and expenses has to be maintained separately, but operated thro LDSFT bank account. Sri Sastry has been requested to incorporate a few more members to form a "Venkadu Temple Board" that will include Shri. Ulaganathan, President, Venkadu Panchyat. Srimathi K.V. Rani, an experienced journalist with Arcot Road Times joins LDSFT as Public Relations Officer.

LDSFT members welcome Smt. Rani to our group. She will be taking care of communications and press related matters. At 6 PM, Shri K.Ganesan, DE/ BSNL/ Chennai gave a informative discourse on Maruthi Mahimai. Dr.R.S thanked all attended, Sri Valasai Jayaraman for sparing the hall and his immense help and Sri K.
