(Their 55th Temple Cleaning Project), at
Arulmigu Mupathamman Temple
Griffith Road, T. Nagar, Chennai.

Members of LDSFT along with a group of volunteers joined to organize a Uzhavarapani -

Temple cleaning event at Sri Muppathamman Temple on 13th June 2010.

About 20 ladies and 6 gents attended this event.
Among them two ladies from T Nagar newly joined our group.
This is a private temple and they appreciated our Temple cleaning activity.
Brass Uthasava Vigrahams, Lamps and Utensils were cleaned.
Though the flooring was done in Marble, it was coated with lot of muddy dirt and oil and
the same was cleaned well by our group volunteers and members.

LDSFT is organising uzhavara pani [Temple cleaning] on second Sundays of every month.
LDSFT is engaged on several activities of temples like 108 thiruvilakku pujas, anmiga tours,
Integrated community development, Organisational networking, interacting like minded organizations,
establishing devotees forums, conducting lectures on Hindu dharma, general education,
training volunteers on spiritual healings at hospitals and forming youth forums. Volunteers and sponsors are needed.
