Jayendra Saraswati Ayurveda College [SJAC] , Nazarethpet, Poonamalee and
Sri Sankara Eye Hospital, Pammal organized
a Free Ayurveda and Eye camp on
Sunday, 4 July 2010, between 8 AM and 1 PM at
Kamakoti Dyana Mandapam, Valasarawakkam, West Kamakoti Nagar, Chennai. | | \\ | Dr.
K. Jaya Shree MD [Ayurveda], Principal, SJAC lighted the lamp to inaugurate the
camp. The
Doctors of SJAC and Pammal joined in lighting the lamp. SJAC arranged a table
with Sage
Dhanvanthri photo and light, and gave to each patient the ayurveda medicines with
god's blessings. The
Ayurveda team was headed by Dr. PK. Mohanarana, Dy. Medical Superintendant of
SJAC Hospital. In
addition 5 doctors participated. |

Patients were attended for Ayurveda, 70 patients were examined for eye [40 males
and 30 females]. 4
cases fit for Cataract surgery were taken by Pammal team to their hospital for
free treatment. LDSFT
thanks all doctors and volunteers for their valuable service. The
services rendered by LDSFT members Sri. Valasai Jayaraman, Mrs.
N. Venkatalakshmi and other volunteers are acknowledged. |

a follow up it was decided that SJAC ambulance with a doctor will be at same place
on
Sunday 18 July at 9 AM for second free consultation and medicines. A
monthly visit by SJAC doctors is planned from August. | | | 13 | 14 | 15 | 16 | 17 | 18 | for
the Hindu community with Educational and Vocational training projects combined
with Health Care, Social services and Spritual Development courses. The
above Intergrated Development projects will be organised along with the core Objectives
of LDSFT which
will include Temple Rejenuvation - Renovation, cleaning, maintenance and Priests
training and welfare programs as
also training of the public in recitations of prayers and special studies in each
of the small communities. | | \\ |
LDSFT
is organising uzhavara pani [Temple cleaning] on second Sundays of every month.
LDSFT
is engaged on several activities of temples like 108 thiruvilakku pujas, anmiga
tours, Integrated
community development, Organisational networking, interacting like minded organizations,
establishing
devotees forums, conducting lectures on Hindu dharma, general education, training
volunteers on spiritual healings at hospitals and forming youth forums. Volunteers
