This will also help them to acquire available goverment projects and assistance for their benefit.

5. Organise Education programmes like tutorial classes for children and adult education. These can be conducted in evenings and week-ends with the local or nearby teachers. This will aim at preparing the school students to get higher scores in competitive examinations and gain knowledge enough to pusue higher education and professional training. For, adults, it will focus on educatng them to read and write and know the world matters properly to make intelligent decisions.

6. Organise Health Care Camps for prevention, screening and education with Health check-up programmes in the same areas. This will be a community based programme for the Health Promotion and disease prevention and not just focussing on treating few illnesses. Proper clean watersupply and sanitation facilities also need to be helped. Other Social Welfare service activities can be included.

\
FINANCIAL PLANNING: Note:

At each site, 3 Local Coordinators need to be identified. All economic activities are of cooperative sector format and not for individuals, supervised by LDSFT.

While the BPL community members are given free service, people who can afford to pay will be encouraged to join with contributions, and non-BPL members also can join, that will develop an integration of the community. We need to identify sponsors from the nearby community and sponsors from the community near the temple for the expenses of various developmental Programmes. Fund raising will be planned from the community at large and major organizations. Both State and Central Government Schemes will be studied and government grants will be obtained.

Various Hindu organizations in the area involved in spiritual and community activities will be encouraged to join in the projects with an organsational networking. Funding received for each area to be utilized for that purpose with full accountability to sponsors and LDSF at Waco, TX, USA. Monthly reports of the projects and activities will be prepared for LDSF and Trustees and copies sent to Kanchi Mutt for Periavas purview.

Wide publicity in Press and media of the programmes held will be done by LDSFT to mobilize public support. The help will be sought from related NGOs, government departments so that LDSFT works along with other organizations with in India and abroad like The Hindu American foundation of USA.

In a nut-shell

LDSFT has started an Integrated Community Development Project for the Indigent BPL Community members in urban slums and villages for a combined economic, educational, social welfare and spiritual development programmes. This will be applicable for the BPL community members of all classes of the Hindu community including the upper castes.

In essence, the activities and projects will be planned for the benefit of all Indigent Hindu members, without any reference to their social status or their jaathis. Please note that the activities are directed only to the Hindu community members and the same is not directed towards any non-Hindus as they will not be interested in our Spiritual development projects.

I am sure you had seen the document of "Integrated Community Development Projects" in detail.
I am attaching here a PROTOCOL for each area as above.
\
Kindly go through and offer me your comments suggestions. We can then finalise and incorporate in main document.
I am planning a manual for this work, for our trust to use and for others to follow,
so that uniformity in working can be planned.
