Neer Exnora and Temple Exnora are coming forward to work with the devotees of Valasai Agastheeswarar Koil to organise the renovation of Temple Tank, routine cleaning of temple interiors and creating a Nandavanam. At a preparatory meeting held at Kamakodi Dhyana Mandapam today, the activists of Valasai Exnora decided to branch out and launch Neer Exnora and Temple or Thirukkoil Exnora for the purpose. Influential Valasai di gnitaries like Me Valasai Jayaraman, Dr R Subramanian-LDSF,Mr Jayavee ran, Businessman & Exnora Senator and Neer Exnora Organisers attend ed the meeting.

Dr R Subramanian of Managing Trustee Loka Dharma Seva Foundation Trust spoke about their efforts for temple cleaning, religious training and integrated development. He also mentioned about the keen int erest being evinced by overseas Indi ans in fostering Hindu religion and ac tivities of NGOs in India.

Mr S Rangarajan, Chairman, Neer Exnora explained about various initiative s launched by Exnora for promotion of water bodies and protection of T emple Tanks. He requested the Valasai Exnora and LDSF teams to regist er 100 volunteers for Temple cleanig and Tank cleaning. Even if 25 people spend 4 hours every Sunday, the Temple can be made clean and a real Nandavanam can flourish. The shrubs around the Temple tank can be removed to make it clean and accessible all around. He lauded the spirit and commitment of Mr Valasai Jayaraman who came forward to organise the people to get these done in one day.

Mr S Thirunavukkarasau, Advisor to Neer exnora, promised to make a Pr oject Report for Repairs to Temple Tank, to provide revetments and a path way all around the temple tank and facilitate cleaning of the temple tank every week.

Dr Vijayalakshmi of Exnora Innovator s Club spoke about the cleanliness of Kerala temples, Gurdwaras, Churches etc which is entirely due to an instit utional arrangement. She desired that the volunteer force should becomw conscience keepers with public suppo rt for a good common cause.

Mr V E Subramanian, General Secretary, Neer Exnora recalled the success achieved by Exnora in Civic and W ater Body Projects and assured the Valasai dignitaries to mobilse people from within and outside to renovate the temple tank and make it as popu lar as Kapali Tank with healthy fish and lotus plants.

Valasai Neer Exnora and Valasai Temple Exnora will be inaugurated very soon entirely with local community leaders representing all sections of the local population.
