At the Zonal Council levels, at various regions, Vedapãtasãlas and
Hindu schools shall be established to teach and train priests and preachers. They
will also be taught public relations and communication techniques to improve their
services. There will be classes in local languages, Sanskrit and English in both
areas. These language classes will be based on Hindu mythology subjects. All teachers
and preachers will also be trained in public speaking techniques in additions
to Hindu Philosophy and Vedas as well as Hindu traditions and rituals. Unity amidst
the diversity should be kept as a basic teaching of all traditions, avoiding all
in-group fighting. In addition to the Priests and Preachers welfare program in
general, the Regional or Zonal councils that supervise the Temples renovation
program should also organize a separate program to teach and train priests in
Vedapatasala. They should identify archakars and pujaris and train them with all
traditions and rituals. May be, a probation period to oversee the progress/ integrity
to profession can be included. All interested and qualified members of the society
should be encouraged to join the classes and get training. They should also participate
in the Hindu educational programs leading to a Theological University degree.

have another job or profession may be an answer to some of the problems we are
facing. In addition, these Patasalas should organize periodic refresher courses
of studies for all existing priests and preachers. In rural areas Archakars and
Pujaris should be trained on usage of Panchangams to fix auspicious times and
explain traditions of various functions for the village community. They should
be trained on first aids, health awareness, traditional medicines etc to be useful
to the village community. They should learn public speaking and public relations
and build a reputed name in the community. They must always insist on the principles
of unity with equal rights and privileges for all communities of both genders,
irrespective of marital status, to follow any and all traditions and religious
practices of their choice without restriction or denial of desires. This will
bring unity with strength.

| | Each
of these Temples shall also have a Hindu school attached which will teach Hindu
Dharma at basic levels, including the philosophy, languages, Puranas, Slokas,
Manthras and Pooja methods to the general public, especially for the children
in the community, on evenings and week-ends. This must be encouraged in addition
to the religious services and rituals that are performed. This will educate the
public about the religious principles and the need for their attending and participating
in the temple services. This will encourage support for the future. The services
of priests, preachers and teachers will be utilized for this educational program.
In addition, the Temple schools should also teach about proper moral education,
preventive health care programs, and exercise programs including self-defense
martial arts training to give self confidence. The children of all ages should
be taught on the unity of the principles of Hindu Dharma and the aspects of unity
amidst diversity and a sense of tolerance among variations in traditions, culture
and beliefs. There should also be classes for adults and elders on various subjects.
These will encourage the participation in Temple and traditional religious activities.
These classes are different, separate and free of cost, in addition to regular
schools that can be arranged for general and technical education programs for
the community. In addition, the Council will also support the establishment of
regular schools and colleges.
