About Educational & Training Programs:

1. The training programs are broad based imparting education, teaching, extension and research. [Like an agricultural-university]
2. Training from grass roots - basic levels to advanced research.
3. Continuing education; Plan on University degrees like BA, MA, PhD.
4. May be in small courses at different levels.
5. Adoptability education in accordance with Kala, Desa, Vartamana etc.
6. To start with we can work with: a. Temple archakas, priests and poojaris.
b. Local Sashtris/ Vaadyars trained in routine rituals to help in home pujas.
c. Assistant Religious practitioners and trainees for different communities.
d. Preachers to spread the messages of Hindu Religious practices.

We will not interfere or change any religious traditions of the community, like caste, creed, local traditions, religious practices and any of the temple related activities. We will try to teach tolerance, friendship and equal privileges, avoiding any group fights or prejudices and discrimination based on Jaathi, gender or marital status. There is no point in arguing that we are for a common code. We have to accept diversity along with unity. The undesirable practices will gradually wane away with good education. Sentiments have to be honored. All the courses are practical oriented which will offer self employment and sponsorship. An archaka need not be the same permanently and he will be given ample opportunities to develop himself and his religious studies as with any other curriculum. This will remove the stigma attached with the profession and will attract many more enterprising people to join this group.

Just like a sociology graduate getting job from asst to the level of collector and also in private sector our education also will generate lots of job opportunities acceptable to local conditions and community. Then only the parents will send their children to such courses. The existing archakas and vadyars in our temple are likely to vanish and fly away in next generation; as it is happening now. Let us elevate the image of archakas, vadyars etc in the society just as barbers have been accredited to beauticians and cosmetologist, cooks as catering technologist and different courses are available for study, musicians as culture ambassadors thro music colleges, country vaidyas as community doctors like ayurveda unani physicians. This education will generate lots of money through which we can adopt several temples and use them for imparting model training like in the medical colleges having hospitals for training students as interns. Let us impart modern training and enlarge the vision of both teacher and students. The work may look enormous, but once we start, our future generation will take it up and the Glory of Hindu Dharma will prevail.

At the next level, the Temples, Priests and Schools planning council will work on renovation of the hundreds of now abandoned or non-functioning or poorly functioning temples. As these projects show their success, other properly functioning small temples also, will voluntarily join our group. While we go for renovation of ancient Temples, there will be need for attending to the demands of more recently planned Temples built by specific communities and also some new and upcoming Temple plans yet to take shape. While our main aim will be for renovation of ancient dilapidated temples in rural areas, it will also be necessary that we support several new and upcoming ones for the same reason that they do not become "ancient" and "dilapidated" in course of time. So long as there is local resources and support of the communities for such projects, there is no reason to ignore them. We can channel and organize the funds and their proper use in the planned projects. Each of these temples may have their own local customs and traditions. Many of these traditions may follow local languages and not Vedas and Agamas. We need to support such traditions while at the same time encourage them to follow some common standards of simple Agama traditions in practice. We must train their priests and the followers in such Veda-Agama traditions, so as to unify the traditions of worship of all Hindus in all Temples. The priests so trained can be encouraged to get a modern type of university degree in Theology from a Hindu University.

Once we train all priests in the small temples with a university degree and also train them in public speaking and public relations, they automatically earn a public trust and respect. They will train the public in our traditions and culture. In turn, people also develop a general respect to our culture once they understand the true meanings of Hindu Dharma at various levels, accepting variations in traditions and customs of several paths available for the followers. Once we create a public trust and credibility to our preachers and priests, Hindu Dharma will flourish. More people will show interest in our Hindu traditions with full understanding. Many children of Priests' families may seek other professions and get financial prosperity. At the same time, many others who have genuine interest in our Dharma will seek education in these courses and we can encourage them to join our Vedapatasala to become the future guardians of our Dharma with equal rights and equal privileges. Many of the ills of the society can be solved by this plan. Many who now seek an alternate path of faith will be discouraged as the path they seek and the status that they desire is within their reach if they want. Renovation of Temples and schools will necessarily be followed by facilities for research programs on ancient texts and a meeting or a congregation of our teachers and Acharyas. Annual symposiums and training programs will provide such opportunities along with a sense of unity among all Hindus around the world. The foundation will work on these lines.
